A small, independent guide — written by a dog owner in Vancouver, for owners who'd rather spend their time with their dog than driving to refill a bottle.

This site isn't written by a veterinarian, a pharmacist, or a pet-supply company. It's written by an owner — of Lucky, a seven-year-old dog whose daily eye drops turned into one vet trip too many. Everything here is the practical stuff owners trade with each other: how the prescription works, which pharmacies are real, where the scams hide, and how to make a refill routine disappear into the background of a dog's life.
Buying pet medication online sits in an awkward gap: the big pharmacy sites explain their own checkouts, the vet explains the medicine, and nobody explains the system in between — the written prescription, the verification call, the Canada/US wrinkle, the autoship economics. Dogscriptions fills that gap, Canada-first, in plain language. It does not sell medication, dispense anything, or advise anyone about their own dog. Your veterinarian does the medicine; this site does the map.
Pharmacies are listed because they are established, licensed where they operate, and verify prescriptions before dispensing — the non-negotiables. We describe their services, shipping patterns and prescription policies as published; we do not test medications, rate their medical quality, or promise any outcome from any product. A pharmacy with no affiliate program can still be listed (one on our comparison page is, with a plain direct link), and listings are not hands-on endorsements of any medication.
Dogscriptions.com may earn commissions from purchases made through links on this site, at no additional cost to you. Programs include the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program (Amazon tag: whoosiscom-20) and pet pharmacy affiliate programs as they are confirmed — as of October 2026, those include PetMeds' affiliate program and Chewy's program through the Impact network; other pharmacy links are marked in our page source as programs are joined. Commissions keep independent sites like this one free to read. They do not buy placement, and they never change the safety rules this site is built on: licensed pharmacies only, prescriptions verified, no exceptions.
